Arbeitsbeschreibung

M&P Water GmbH is the specialist department within the M&P Group "Engineering for a Better Tomorrow" that focuses on the topic of "water" and all associated facets.

In addition to the classic specialist areas and tasks of hydraulic engineering, this focus includes hydrology, hydraulics, flood protection, heavy rain management, ecological hydraulic engineering, water development and river engineering, environmental and landscape planning, dams and hydropower plants, as well as geotechnical engineering, structural engineering and methodological tools such as GIS and BIM applications.

Exceptional projects are our profession:

We are looking for reinforcement at our existing locations in Gotha, Cologne and Leipzig, whereby we are flexible with regard to location development in Germany and enable mobile working.

Your tasks at a glance:

  • Planning of hydraulic engineering facilities and execution of associated engineering tasks on a national level (HOAI service phases 1 - 9)
  • Creation of German and English documents for the standardization of engineering tasks and external presentation of the company

In hydraulic engineering, no two projects are the same. It's always about developing individual solutions that help shape the future sustainably and ecologically. We want to create something unique in our projects - and you can make a real difference with your personality.

With your skills and knowledge, you will fit perfectly into our team:

We look forward to meeting exceptional people who want to actively shape their world. For us, ambition, enjoyment of work and a desire to get stuck in are just as important as a touch of humor and a down-to-earth attitude. You will quickly find your place with us - at eye level and in genuine cooperation.

But the most important thing for us is that you want to make a difference in your life. And that fits in with our values - such as sustainability and the will to create a better world.

What you should bring with you:

  • Degree in civil or environmental engineering or a comparable field of study
  • Ideally several years of professional experience in the processing or management of hydraulic engineering projects
  • Knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, geotechnics, solid construction and environmental planning
  • Sense of responsibility, communication skills, ability to work in a team and structured thinking
  • Additional knowledge is welcome - e.g. in project management, the use of software such as iTWO, ArcGIS, CAD or in procurement, construction and contract law

We will be happy to bring you up to the "final level" of your training with internal and external training courses.

What we offer you!

As a company, we stand for this vision of a better world. Our team is enthusiastic about the tasks that arise, primarily in the form of hydraulic engineering projects. Of course, we offer much more:

  • Exciting and varied projects with high professional standards
  • Flexible working hours
  • A professional, appreciative and interdisciplinary team
  • Long-term career prospects, taking into account personal career and family planning
  • Extensive further training and individual development opportunities
  • Modern work equipment and open corporate culture with short decision-making processes
  • Numerous benefits such as job bike leasing, subsidized job ticket, company pension scheme, employee events and corporate benefits

Our engineers and scientists are enthusiastic about our exciting projects and have a real team spirit. This is ensured by our open culture with short lines of communication and quick decisions in a friendly and modern working environment.
