M&P Water GmbH is the specialist department within the SIERA Alliance "Engineering for a Better Tomorrow", which focuses entirely on the topic of water. Our portfolio covers all facets of hydraulic engineering: from hydrology and hydraulics, flood protection, heavy rainfall management and water development to dams, hydropower and ecological aspects. Our specialist knowledge is complemented by expertise in geotechnics, structural design and modern methods such as GIS and BIM applications.

We are looking for dedicated support for our team as Construction Supervisor Hydraulic Engineering (m/f/d) in the greater North Rhine-Westphalia area, preferably in Cologne.

What you need:

• You have experience in the supervision of hydraulic engineering projects - such as the construction of flood protection facilities, the renaturation of watercourses or the construction of hydraulic engineering structures.
• You have a sound knowledge of the German Construction Contract Procedures (VOB) and the relevant case law. With your confident manner, you represent the interests of the client confidently in dealings with construction companies and have the necessary assertiveness.
• Your way of working is structured and independent. You organize your day-to-day work independently and efficiently.

What you bring with you:

• Successfully completed studies in the technical field (e.g. civil engineering) or completed technical training with appropriate additional training
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in construction management/supervision of hydraulic engineering projects
• Sound knowledge in the area of VOB
• Organized, independent way of working with assertiveness
• Confident manner towards clients, construction companies and external project participants
• Strong communication skills, team spirit and a sense of responsibility
• Knowledge of soil management is desirable.
