The City and Region department develops and manages future-oriented planning processes for sustainable urban and regional development.

We are looking for an experienced and visionary leader with planning expertise, strong leadership skills and a spirit of innovation to actively promote sustainable urban development and the integration of ground-mounted wind and photovoltaic systems.

What you bring with you:

• Completed studies in urban planning, spatial planning, geography, architecture or similar
• Several years of relevant professional experience in urban land use planning, ideally with management experience
• Sound specialist knowledge of building and planning law, in particular BauGB, as well as sustainable urban development and renewable energies
• Strategic thinking, organizational skills and a high degree of decisiveness
• Strong communication and leadership skills as well as a confident manner in the political and public sphere
• Experience in managing interdisciplinary processes and working with various interest groups
• Strong consulting skills and affinity for digital working methods
• Confident, team-oriented appearance
