What you bring with you:

• Degree in environmental engineering or a comparable field. Experience in waste management is an advantage
• Willingness to travel and fluency in German and English required

Desirable additional qualifications for Germany, but internationally mandatory:

• Experience in the operation of waste disposal plants
• Consulting experience in the field of waste management
• Advice on sustainable resource management and the circular economy
• Experience in projects with international financing institutions (e.g. KfW, GIZ, ADB etc.)

These are your tasks:

• Carrying out feasibility studies
• Carrying out due diligence reviews of investments
• Evaluation of the legal, socio-economic and environmental framework conditions of waste projects, from concept design to implementation
• Tendering projects, comparing offers and conducting contract negotiations
• Construction supervision or organization of construction supervision during project implementation
• Development and elaboration of financing models
