About the position

Around 800 employees work in the SIERA Alliance on the vision of a better future - in the areas of environmental protection and climate, water and ecosystems, circular economy, urban sustainability, infrastructure and impact technology.

At M&P Ingenieurgesellschaft Gruppe Nord, around 125 employees are currently working on projects in the fields of environmental engineering, contaminated sites and water management at the Hanover, Hamburg and Osnabrück sites.
Its core competencies are services in land development (land recycling, subsoil investigation and demolition), in the development of concepts for the remediation of contaminated sites as well as the investigation of abandoned military sites and the clearance of explosive ordnance.

Your tasks

• Overall responsibility for the strategic and operational management of the Osnabrück site.

• Management, motivation and further development of the team of female engineers, scientists and technicians.

• Expanding and maintaining customer relationships and acquiring new projects in the field of environmental and engineering services.

• Responsibility for budget, turnover and sustainable growth of the location.

• Close cooperation with the management and other partners within the SIERA Alliance.

• Strategic further development of the service portfolio in the areas of water, contaminated sites, dismantling and landfills.

Your profile

• Degree in environmental engineering, geoecology, geosciences, civil or process engineering with an environmental focus or a comparable qualification.

• Several years of professional and management experience - ideally in the management of a site, division or company in the environmental or infrastructure sector.

• Sound knowledge of technical and legal framework conditions (e.g. BBodSchG, DepV, WHG, recycling management).

• Strong entrepreneurial thinking, organizational skills and decision-making ability.

• Strong communication skills, negotiating skills and a modern, appreciative management style.

• Enthusiasm for sustainability, resource conservation and the transformation of environmental technology.
