Around 800 employees work in the SIERA Alliance on the vision of a better future in the areas of environmental protection and climate, water and ecosystems, circular economy, urban sustainability and infrastructure as well as impact technology.

To strengthen our team we are looking for a Project Manager (m/f/d) for our department "Landfill - contaminated sites - dismantling" at the location Cologne and Düsseldorf.

What you can contribute to a better future with us:

  • You have knowledge of the Landfill Ordinance and the associated approval procedures. You also have experience in planning and supervising the implementation of landfill sealing systems.

  • You will be responsible for the processing, planning and implementation of contaminated site and land recycling projects as well as the investigation of building pollutants.

  • You plan demolition, renovation and conversion measures in existing buildings.

  • You create and evaluate tender documents in GAEB format.

  • You advise on the awarding and invoicing of construction services.

  • You provide expert advice and take on the local construction supervision on our construction sites.

  • You handle projects independently.

What you should bring with you:

  • You have a successfully completed degree in geosciences (M.Sc., Dipl.-Geol., Dipl.-Geogr.) or a comparable qualification.

  • You have at least 5 years of professional experience in the areas mentioned.

  • You have a confident manner, good negotiating skills and enjoy customer service and acquisition.

  • You are a team player with good communication skills, work in a goal-oriented manner and enjoy finding creative solutions to tasks.

  • Expertise in accordance with DGUV 101-004 (BGR 128) / TRGS 524 and TRGS 519 as well as knowledge of building pollutants are desirable.

  • You are confident with MS Office and a tendering program and have a car driver's license.
