Around 700 employees work in the M&P Group on the vision for a better future in the areas of construction and sustainable urban development, environment and climate protection, water and renewable energies. At M&P Ingenieurgesellschaft Gruppe Nord, around 125 employees at the Hanover, Hamburg and Osnabrück sites are currently working on projects in the fields of environmental engineering, contaminated sites and water management. Our core competencies are services in land development (land recycling, subsoil investigation and demolition), the development of concepts for the remediation of contaminated sites as well as the investigation of abandoned military sites and the clearance of explosive ordnance.
How you can contribute to a better future with us:
You will be responsible for the independent processing of expert reports and projects for the historical-genetic reconstruction of possible explosive ordnance contamination. You will have a solid knowledge of military operations of the 20th century - and the motivation to deal with project-specific issues relating to the construction and use structure of military areas and military events and to analyze these in the context of expert opinions.
The tasks in the KMR Phase A include:
- Analysis of written material
- Thematic aerial image evaluations
- Application of geoinformation systems to analyze and present the results
In addition, you will contribute your specialist knowledge in related areas of applied geoinformatics to various environmentally relevant projects - depending on capacity and content fit. These include, for example
- Planning and coordination of drone flights (classes C0 to C4)
- Analysis of geodata according to defined criteria (e.g. 2D and 3D interpolation of pollutant analyses)
- Implementation of ground checks
What you bring with you:
- Successfully completed studies in geosciences (M.Sc., Dipl.-Geol., Dipl.-Geogr.) or comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the above-mentioned fields
- Strong ability to work in a team, good communication skills, goal-oriented work and interest in creative task solutions
- Confident handling of geoinformation systems
- Car driver's license available
