The company currently employs around 120 people in the fields of soil protection and waste, environmental and geotechnical engineering, water management, geoinformation, explosive ordnance and nature conservation.

Are you motivated to work successfully in a competent team in the field of soil protection / pedological construction monitoring? The environmental medium soil needs to be investigated and evaluated. We actively contribute to protecting the soil through various planning and control measures on construction sites. We are looking for you in Hamburg or Hanover.

These are your tasks:

• You create pedological mapping to assess and document soil conditions
• You develop concepts to protect the soil, e.g. for construction projects or agricultural use
• You accompany and supervise (large) construction sites as part of the pedological construction supervision
• You will be responsible for communicating with clients, farmers/owners, authorities and other specialist planners
• You document your results in the form of reports and presentations
• You manage projects in this specialist area on your own responsibility

What you bring with you:

• A successfully completed degree or comparable qualification in soil science, agricultural sciences, geography, geosciences, etc.
• Several years of experience in the field of soil function assessments and preparation of soil protection concepts, but newcomers to the profession are also welcome
• Experience in pedological mapping according to KA5
• Civil engineering/construction site experience desirable
• Knowledge of plant cultivation and soil recultivation is an advantage
• Evaluation of soils under soil chemical aspects (BBodSchG/V, Substitute Building Materials Ordinance, LAGA)
