Our core competencies are services in land development (land recycling, subsoil investigation and demolition), the development of concepts for the remediation of contaminated sites, the investigation of abandoned military sites and the clearance of explosive ordnance.

Job description:

To further strengthen our building land department we are looking for as of now You as Senior Civil Engineer Geotechnics (m/f/d) at our location in Cologne.

These are your tasks:

• Focus on building ground and foundation consulting
• Responsibility for the structural and static planning of geotechnical constructions in earthworks and special civil engineering (e.g. foundations, excavations, retaining walls, earthworks) using GGU or DC software
• Preparation of cost estimates for earthworks and special civil engineering measures
• Supervision and monitoring of civil engineering measures on site
• Writing reports and expert opinions
• Independent scheduling and project planning
• Customer support and project acquisition

What you bring with you:

• Successfully completed studies in civil engineering or comparable training
• Several years of specialized professional experience (at least 5 years)
• Confident written expression, ideally proven by experience in the preparation of reports or expert opinions
• Willingness for team-oriented and interdisciplinary cooperation with various specialists
• Motivation for continuous further training - internally and externally - to expand specialist and industry knowledge
• Confident handling of MS-Office
• Car driver's license (class 3 or B) and willingness to travel for daily assignments, mainly in western Germany
