With MuP Environmental Technology Ltd. at the Heidelberg location we deal with environmental, demolition and geotechnical issues, manage the remediation of contaminated sites and develop contaminated sites.

In this role, you will be responsible for your own projects in the specialist area of geotechnics and subsoil in a team of around six employees.

These are your tasks:

• You actively contribute to the further development of the geotechnics department (geotechnical exploration and geotechnical planning) in the company
• You will be responsible for the technical and economic management of the geotechnics and subsoil project team
• You are responsible for internal quality control in the field of geotechnics and subsoil as well as for the in-house training of employees
• You will prepare geotechnical investigation reports and carry out geotechnical stability analyses
• You will be responsible for the planning of geotechnical structures (reinforced earth structures, shoring dimensioning, earthworks) and the tendering of special civil engineering measures
• You are responsible for project management and specialist construction management during execution
• You will also represent the company with customers and at congresses and conferences

What you should bring with you:

• You have a degree and extensive professional experience in the field of civil engineering or applied geosciences with a focus on geotechnics / foundation engineering
• You have very good knowledge in the fields of geotechnics, soil mechanics and earthworks as well as in-depth knowledge of the relevant regulations (DIN standards, recommendations of the DGGT working groups, etc.)
• In addition, you have good knowledge of verification in earth statics, of special foundation engineering methods and ideally have knowledge of VOB and HOAI
• You know the current market situation, have good quality and cost awareness and are customer-oriented
• In the best case, you have initial management experience
• You are characterized by your committed, independent, goal- and team-oriented way of working
